Do you need to clean up your life? It is not easy committing to a significant lifestyle change. I am dedicated to learning about the good, the bad and the ugly of living an organic, clean, healthy and balanced lifestyle.
For me, this means cutting out processed foods, eating a plant based organic diet, limiting my exposure to chemicals and using alternative homeopathic methods for minor ailments.
There is an abundance of information thrown at us every day which can be confusing. Follow along as I try new foods, organic juicing, gardening, educating myself on the “so called”food in our grocery stores, sharing what others have tried and of course having fun while doing it! It’s all about what works, and what doesn’t.
This blog is to share, learn and challenge myself as I begin a journey into the world of organic, wholesome, safe products that promote a positive lifestyle. For me, a large component of a wholesome and healthy lifestyle is balance. Balancing work, family, career and retirement goals is not easy. Pair that with a natural and healthy lifestyle and it becomes a huge challenge. Busy lifestyles are filled with fast food, stress, and bad decisions. I have never accepted that and I never will.
I can remember my brother comparing me to Courtney Cox role in the movie “Bed Time Stories” check out the video below… are you this girl?? lol Well, you are not alone!
I currently work a full-time job, raise two boys, have a family life and go to college part-time. I am working towards multiple financial and career goals. Yes, I am part Hamster, and my wheel is spinning!
Obtaining these goals will result in the greatest gift; to spend my time with the ones I love, when I want, where I want and as often as I want : )
By learning to create passive income, which will allow me to have a flexible schedule and more time with my family, makes me one of the wealthiest people in the world! Time is the one thing we can’t buy, but how we spend our time adds value to our lives.
I will explore, share and learn many ways to keep life balanced and get back to the basics. My grandma always said, ” keep yourself in the middle, to much or not enough of anything can throw you off balance.”
I hope that by sharing my journey, I can inspire others to do the same!!
