Hello. My name is_____and I am a Sugar Addict

Sugar,

You have always been there for me when I needed you the most; long car rides, the fair, holidays, coffee breaks, menstrual cycles, birthdays, movies; need I say more?

Yes, it has been a long road filled with fond memories. As sweet as those memories may seem, you have disguised yourself, hid behind names most people can’t even pronounce, changed your coloring, packaging… Why? To keep me coming back for more?

Even though I know you are no good for me, I remain in love. Why does my body crave you so much? Why can’t I end this relationship? How do I find a healthier you?
